The Maple Leaves of Fall

Monday, May 08, 2006

This shallow bowl is made by fusing enamel onto a copper base. The size is 6 inches round. The dragon is outlined with fine silver wire made with one single peice of wire, a varient on the cloisonne' technique. Enamel is the technique where vitreous glass (powder) is fired to fusion onto a metal base.

Dragon Pendant

I love to put dragons everywhere. This dragon is made with silver wire and many colors of powdered glass. No two dragons ever some out the same.

Dragonfly Pin

This dragonfly pin has eyes made out of silver wire. It is one of a large series of dragonfly pins. No two pins will be the same.

Abstract Double Holed Switch Plates

This is one of my abstract garden patterns. Because it is made of powdered glass, no two will be exactly the same. Switch plates come with the screws needed to attach them to the wall.

Single hole switch plates in cat pattern

This is a favorite among my customers.
